OUR VISION

Maranatha's multi-site church plantings improve and build upon proven processes and practices. Where improvements are

identified, they are incorporated in future expansions.

B. EDUCATIONAL MINISTRY

The Educational Ministry objectives are to aim and provide a leadership environment that will foster and engender Christian values, while nurturing its students to be the best they can become. As part of its emphasis on empowering people and breaking the cycle

of poverty and illteracy, Maranatha established two learning institutions: Maranatha Basic School in Waterhouse, Kingston and Jabneh Christian Academy in Savanna-la-mar, Westmoreland in 1998 and 2007 respectively. Both institutions are part of the Maranatha churches in these two communities. Maranatha Basic School offers an early childhood education program which takes students up to the Grade Six Achievement Test ( GSAT ). These institutions which are approved by the Ministry of Education, offers a curriculum that is based to more than one ( 100 ) hundred students. This Ministry through these institutions also offers a school feeding program and financial aid to students.

Jamaica is known as a country that has produced some of most talented individuals who also go on to impact the world in one way or the other ( be it good or bad ). We believe that through our educational program, we are shaping our nations destiny and by extention.
